Overview

Located in the Subtropical inner Terai lowlands of southern central part, it is one of the finest wildlife parks in Southeast Asia with an area of 932 sq. km. This is the first national park in the country to preserve a unique eco system and is in the list of UNESCO declared World Heritage site.(natural). It has over 50 species of mammals, 450 species of birds, 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. A tiger or a single horned rhino may suddenly appear. Less dramatic, yet exciting, different types of deer, wild boar, and sloth bears can be seen. Transport is available according to the requirements of the visitors. Elephants and jeeps are most suitable for those interested in looking at the animals. Crocodile enthusiasts and anglers can go on canoes down the river. There are nature treks to see and enjoy the many different birds in the park. It offers unforgettable wildlife adventures. Riding on elephant back allows sightings, sometimes close-up, of the many jungle residents; deer, birds, the rare One Horned Rhinoceros, the Bengal Tiger and Leopards. Chitwan is also birder's paradise with more than 400 species within the park.

Elephant safari, Bird watching, canoeing, nature walk/ Jungle walk, visit to Tharu village, View Crocodile walk at the bank of the Narayani river, experience Tharu culture/ stick dance, jungle drive, Visit elephant breeding center.

What to bring by tourist?

Binoculars, camera with extra film rolls, flashlight, sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, sweater & Jackets for winter (Nov-February) the rest of months simply cotton clothes for the evening, Raincoat for rainy season.

Itinerary

Day01: Arrive in Chitwan national park, meet and check- in resort. On reaching resort our guest relation officer will brief about the jungle program.

Day02: Jungle activities

Day03: Drive to Kathmandu or Pokhara or Lumbini

Note: 1 night/2 days package & 3 night/ 4 days package are also available upon request.
