Overview
Chulu East Peak ( 6584m) is situated above the Manang valley which was first ascended in 1955 by a German expedition through the north ridge. The stunning view of Annapurna II, III IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Tilicho Peak, Manaslu and beautiful Dhaulagiri is seen throughout the climb. This peak is difficult to climb for the beginners since it needs technically sound knowledge on climbing. For climbing major work is to be done through rope. For this climbing you must be fit and positive during the climbing..The obvious approach to this peak diverges from the main trail to the Thorung La pass past the village of Manang and Base Camp is established in a small valley to the North. From base camp the route follows a subsidiary northwest ridge that leads up to the main peak. An effort to the peak and return has been done in a single day, as setting camp up on the slope above base camp is not easy. |

Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek/ climbing preparation
Day 03 : Drive Kathmandu to Beshisahar (760m / 5 hrs)
Day 04 : Trek to Bahundanda (1305m.)
Day 05 : Trek to Chamje (1410m.)
Day 06 : Trek to Dharapani (1960m.)
Day 07 : Trek to Chame (2675m.)
Day 08 : Trek to Pisang (3100m.)
Day 09 : Trek to Ngawal village (3657m.)
Day 10 : Rest in Ngawal for acclimatization & explore around
Day 11 : Trek to Chulu East Base Camp (3910m.)
Day 12 : Trek to Chulu East High Camp (4955m.) & plan the climbing route.
Day 13 : Summit the Chulu East Peak and return Base Camp
Day 14 : Extra day (If bad weather occurs). Attempt again for the ascent
Day 15 : Trek to Manang (3560m.)
Day 16 : Trek to Yak Kharka (4350m.)
Day 17 : Trek to Thorong Phedi (4420m.)
Day 18 : Trek to Muktinath (3850m.) via Thorong La (5416m.) Pass
Day 19 : Trek to Jomsom (2650m.)
Day 20 : Fly to Pokhara
Day 21 : Drive to Kathmandu
Day 22 : Free day in Kathmandu
Day 23 : Final departure |

NEPAL EXTENSIONS
There are a variety of interesting extensions you might choose to add on either before or after your trek. These options include:
Chitwan National Park Tour
It provides excellent opportunities to view the rare species such as sloth bear, bison, rhinoceros, leopard and the exclusive tiger. Early morning jungle walks and safaris on elephant back are amongst the most popular activities. The jungle lodge can be reached from Kathmandu either by air or by private vehicle.
Mount Everest Scenic Flight
An hour flight departs Kathmandu early morning and provides spectacular views of Mount Everest and the surrounding mountains.

Bunjee Jumping
Nepal has become one of the best sites in the world for bungee jumping. The country’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the roaring Bhote Koshi river, located close to the Nepal Tibet border (Kodari) just three hour’s drive from Kathmandu.
Water Rafting
Nepal is also popular as one of the best destinations for white water rafting in the world. Cruising down rushing river of crashing waves and swirling rapids can make up excitement of a lifetime.
