This is the third most popular trekking region after Annapurna & Everest. Trekking to this region takes you to remote & spectacular valley of Langtang, with the high mountain lakes of Gosaikunda & the beautiful Helambu valley. The region offers the beautiful Langtang National Park, different species of flora and fauna, swift mountain streams, rugged rock & snow capped peaks, meadows strewn with daisies & wild primulas. In the upper part of the Langtang valley you will explore snow ridges, spanning angry torrents, high passes & tiny lakes at the base of glaciated mountain giants. You will also visit Tamang villages and experience the local culture, tradition and lifestyle of the people. Climbing small peaks at a comfortably low elevation will be an extra activity. |
