Peak Climbing in Nepal

The government of Nepal has fully authorized the Nepal Mountaineering association (NMA) to categorize the mountains of Nepal into Group -'A' and Group - 'B' peaks and issue the climbing permits to 33 trekking peaks allowing adventurous peak climbing in Nepal.

A trekking peak is a mountain under 7000m. (22,970ft.) considered to be climbable by anyone with a moderate amount of mountaineering experience. Some of these trekking peaks require snow and ice climbing experience, use of climbing equipment. But some of them do not require any experience at all.
