Overview
Pikey hill (4065m) is one of the tallest hills at lower part of Everest region. From this hill one can view the breathtaking sunrise and sunset in good weather. Besides, one can also see most of the central and eastern Himalayan peak from the hill top. There are two trails that lead to the Pikey hill either through Jiri or Phaplu. A trail through Jiri- Chaula Kharka- Ngaur is mostly up and down and quite steep climb from Kenja Khola. The trail starting at Phaplu is a bit easier than the Jiri- Pikey hill trail. However, both the trails go through beautiful landscape, pastures and Sherpa settlements. One can experience Sherpa culture, tradition and way of living through out the trekking trip. One can also visit one of the most popular Thuptencholing monastery on the way and if it is festival time, it will be a most exciting experience to participate in one of the Buddhist festivals or take a short term Buddhist meditation course with Rimpoche (head teacher) |

NEPAL EXTENSIONS
There are a variety of interesting extensions you might choose to add on either before or after your trek. These options include:
Chitwan National Park Tour
It provides excellent opportunities to view the rare species such as sloth bear, bison, rhinoceros, leopard and the exclusive tiger. Early morning jungle walks and safaris on elephant back are amongst the most popular activities. The jungle lodge can be reached from Kathmandu either by air or by private vehicle.
Mount Everest Scenic Flight
An hour flight departs Kathmandu early morning and provides spectacular views of Mount Everest and the surrounding mountains.
Culture/Heritage Tour
Nepal boasts a rich cultural diversity and it is well worth exploring. The Himalayan country of Nepal is a dream-world for many and reality for some. Once experienced they can never be forgotten, never dismissed from memory whether ones experience of them is visiting age-old Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries and royal palaces with amazing sculptures, paintings, legends and living rituals. Nepal is not only regarded as "Shangri-la" for adventurers but a scenic revelation and an educational in itself to all visitors. Once seen they become a part of you, habit-forming and intrusive. We have put our best effort to incorporate all cultural delights as well as natural beauty that Nepal has to offer, which you can chose depending on your time availability.
Bunjee Jumping
Nepal has become one of the best sites in the world for bungee jumping. The country’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the roaring Bhote Koshi river, located close to the Nepal Tibet border (Kodari) just three hour’s drive from Kathmandu.
Water Rafting
Nepal is also popular as one of the best destinations for white water rafting in the world. Cruising down rushing river of crashing waves and swirling rapids can make up excitement of a lifetime. Nepal’s thundering waters, coming from the glaciers of the mighty Himalaya provide unmatched thrills for rafting & immersing oneself in the beautiful landscape.
Paragliding
Paragliding is relatively new adventure sport in Nepal, and can be truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for adventure seekers. We experience unparalleled scenic grandeur sharing airspace with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, and kites, while floating over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, with a fantastic view of majestic Himalayas. For the last three years this activity has been in operation in Pokhara, and it now is an internationally recognized destination for free flight enthusiasts
