This is a picturesque trek that does not involve strenuousness since it goes through a lower altitude. The trail leads through chirpine, rhododendron and oak forests at certain stretches. You will see Monasteries and camp at villages, rich and varied vegetation from richly forested valley to high alpine pastureland where yak herders graze their animals, magnificent views of snowy mountains and the Himalayan blue sheep and snow leopard can be encountered on this trek.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Paro and drive to Thimphu Pick up from Paro International Airport (2280m). Depending on the arrival time of the Druk Air flight, you will either be served a meal in Paro or be driven straight to Thimphu, the capital city, which is about 53 kilometers away. The drive normally takes about an hour and a half. If Thimphu is reached early, you can go out in the town and mingle with the Bhutanese people. Dinner will be served in hotel.
Day 02: Drive Thimphu to Dechhencholing & trek to Sinchula (3,380 m) Drive towards Dechhencholing to Kabjesa to start trek. The trek begins with a 4-hour climb to Sinchula Pass, through blue pine, oak and rhododendron forests. Overnight in camp at Sinchula.
Day 03: Trek Sinchula to Dupsingpang (2,440 m) On a clear day, views of Phajoding Monastery and some of the Himalayan ranges can be seen. The first part of the trek is rather tedious due to difficult road conditions. After an hour walk, the village of Thinleygang, Talo Monastery and the highway to Thimphu can be seen. The trail leads on for 4 – 5 hours of walking through mixed forests to the camp.
Day 04: Trek Dupsingpang to Chorten Nebu (l,810 m) The third day of the trek starts with 4-hour descent through dense forests. A small stream has to be crossed twice, then continue for another 3 – 4 hours through villages and rice fields to the village of Chorten Nebu, an old temple. Overnight in camp.
Day 05: Trek Chorten Nebu to Kabji Sirigang & drive to Thimphu via Punakha The route descends for 2 hours to Kabji Sirigang, the end of the trek. Then we drive to Punakha. and visit the Punakha Dzong, the old capital of Bhutan. Drive back to Thimphu. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Thimphu
Day 06: Thimphu Sightseeing
A full day's sightseeing includes the National Library which contains a thousand manuscripts, both ancient and modern. Also we will visit the school of Traditional Arts and Crafts and then the National Medicine Institute. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Thimphu
Day 07: Drive Thimphu to Paro
After breakfast we drive to Paro. We will visit the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower. The museum contains a wonderful gallery of Thangkas (scrolls) and also the Paro Dzong, the administrative centre for the valley of Paro. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 08:Paro sightseeing
After breakfast we will make a full day excursion to the spectacular Takshang also known as the Tiger's Nest, one of the most venerated sacred sites of the Himalayan world. It clings to a sheer 3000-foot cliff above the valley and the buildings enshrine a cave where the great saint Guru Rinpoche meditated. A pilgrimage to Takshang is the dream of a lifetime for the devout. Dinner at the hotel
Day 09:Depart Paro for your next destination

Chitwan National Park Tour
