The trek through Humla, Nepal's highest, northernmost and most remote district, is culturally and scenically rewarding. This trek is a mix of moderate and strenuous walk. The trek starts from Simikot towards the Karnali river bank through Thakuri villages and Humla, a Tibetan settlement. Traditional village settings, rural lifestyle of people, local farmers working on indigenous crop fields and the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, shrines are some of the major highlights of this trek. While trekking, you will enjoy the majestic view of the Saipal Himal (7035m) that resembles a sleeping golden ox. The beautiful valley around the mountain adds to the beauty of the region.

Day 02 : Permit preparation/shopping day.
Day 03 : Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Fly to Simikot (2950m) Overnight in camp
Day 05 : Trek to Dharapori Overnight in camp
Day 06 : Trek to Chhoile Overnight in camp
Day 07 : Trek to Palang Le (Thothory Pass 4500m) Overnight in camp
Day 08 : Trek to Kairang Overnight in camp
Day 09 : Trek to Saipal Base camp Overnight in Camp
Day 10 : Rest & Exploration on the base camp Overnight in Camp
Day 11 : Trek to Labuk Depsa
Day 12 : Trek to Chala village

It provides excellent opportunities to view the rare species such as sloth bear, bison, rhinoceros, leopard and the exclusive tiger.
